Posted Oct 12, 2020
UNC’s offense torched Virginia Tech for 656 yards (9.9 yards per play) in Saturday’s 56-45 win. Longo called an outstanding game for the Tar Heels, as this offense ran for 399 and quarterback Sam Howell was flawless (18 of 23 for 257 yards) through the air. Carolina converted six of 10 third-down attempts and punted on just three of 12 offensive drives.
