Virginia State Swimming Champion Kyleigh Tankard Commits To UNC

Yorktown, Va. native Kyleigh Tankard has committed to UNC and will join Enfield, Conn. native Aislin Farris as a member of the Tar Heels’ class of 2022. Tankard is a huge get. She would’ve placed in the 100 fly and 200 fly at the 2020 ACC Championships. Under coach Mark Gangloff, UNC improved from seventh in the 2019 ACC meet to fourth last season.
