For the last 17 seasons, Roy Williams has gathered his team at midcourt on the first day of practice. The Tar Heels go through the practice plan, individuals are picked to recite the offensive and defensive emphasis of the day, plus the thought for the day. They did it a little differently Wednesday, the first day of practice for the 2020-21 UNC basketball season.
