On the same weekend that North Carolina blew out N.C. State, the author of one of the biggest plays in the history of that rivalry had his most productive game of the season. With a foot injury sidelining Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon, Giovani Bernard was used much more, and he took advantage of it in their 37–34 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
