"So I asked him, 'Could you help me with why you missed a 22-yard field goal?'" Mack Brown said of kicker Grayson Atkins. "He said, 'I just went too quick.' And I said, 'Don't. Don't, man, you're really good. Quit thinking and kick!" Brown took the confidence building a step further by sending Atkins out to attempt a 34-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.
