Aziah Buckner Named ACC Volleyball Freshman Of The Week


Helping UNC Volleyball to a pair of wins over Virginia, Aziah Buckner has been named the ACC Freshman of the Week as announced Tuesday by the conference office. Starting both matches as a six-rotation hitter, freshman Buckner averaged 3.43 kills per set and 2.86 digs per set. Buckner totaled 24 kills, hitting .340 with a mere six errors in eight sets.
