North Carolina linebacker Larry Edwards was so engaged in studying film of Wisconsin a few weeks back that coach John Bunting -- on his way home after a long day -- had to order the junior to go home and get some sleep. "He is so consumed by being good, and becoming maybe a great player someday ... I literally almost had to pick him up by the shoulders and shove him out the door," Bunting said of the nocturnal encounter.
