Empty and unusual: UNC tops College of Charleston in surreal season opener

As Armando Bacot and Garrison Brooks began to discuss UNC's season-opening victory, it didn’t take the big men long to reach the same postgame conclusion. Well, that sure was unusual. The 16th-ranked Tar Heels topped College of Charleston 79-60 to open this college basketball season unlike any other Wednesday night at the all but empty Smith Center.
