UNC's New-Look Defense Takes Considerable Step Forward


Six true freshmen played 160 snaps for UNC against Notre Dame, including cornerback , who was in the game for 67 snaps. Only senior linebacker , junior defensive back , and Gemmel played more. Three true freshmen started on defense, and by the second quarter, six defensive tackles had been in the game. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
