With No. 14 North Carolina trailing by five points with seven minutes to play in Tuesday’s semifinal matchup with Stanford, Roy Williams leaned on a blend of veterans and true freshmen to grind out a 67-63 victory and advance to the championship game at the Maui Invitational. “I feel like we were battle-tested,” Leaky Black said following the victory.
