UNC growing pains tougher than expected for Tar Heels' freshman backcourt
Posted Dec 3, 2020
UNC's loss to Texas proved the Tar Heels need better performances out of Caleb Love and R.J. Davis. The freshmen guards combined to shoot 5 of 24 and totaled seven of the team’s 14 turnovers. “It’s part of the growing pains, but at the same time that sounds like an excuse, and they have got to grow up quickly,” Roy Williams said after Wednesday’s loss.
