Some Fun: Tar Heel fan gets different kind of relief
Posted Oct 4, 2005
When reporters from North Carolina asked hurricane Katrina victim John Ellis if there was anything they could do for him, he replied with a joke. "Yeah, if Roy Williams would get me two courtside seats to a Carolina game. I love the Tar Heels." Ol' Roy didn't arrange for tickets, but some well-Heeled Carolina boosters did. The details are still being worked out, but Ellis and his wife plan to attend the UNC-N.C. State basketball game.
