Tar Heels step out of ACC play to face Western Carolina

North Carolina is finally playing the nonconference game coach Mack Brown believes could have helped to develop more young players. UNC hosts Western Carolina from the Championship Subdivision on Saturday. The game replaces one against Charlotte from September that was canceled after COVID-19 quarantines depleted the 49ers offensive line. (Associated Press)
