UNC Football's Youth Movement On Defense Paying Off

With 4:43 remaining in the third quarter of the North Carolina vs. Wake Forest game, UNC's coaching staff inserted true freshmen Tony Grimes and Ja'Qurious Conley into the game. It’s also when a concerted youth movement on defense was born. Six noteworthy freshmen, including redshirt lineman Kevin Hester, have combined to play 453 snaps since then.
