ECU lands UNC safety transfer DJ Ford

Short on projected safeties heading into the 2021 season, East Carolina has seemingly found one who could potentially come in and compete for a starting spot right away. North Carolina graduate transfer D.J. Ford, who started seven games at safety in 2019 before opting out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns, has committed to ECU.
