Boston Celtics champion point and shooting guard Charlie Scott won an NBA title with the Celtics, but he began breaking barriers well before he donned the green and white. A New Yorker through and through, Scott became the first Black full scholarship player to suit up for the University of North Carolina in 1967, his freshman year under coach Dean Smith. (USA Today)
