Big Four's football woes no new deal

John Bunting, in his fifth year at North Carolina, received a contract extension after last season's 40-17 rout at Duke. Forty days later, the Tar Heels were beaten by Boston College 37-24 in the Tire Bowl. Bunting's teams have played brutal schedules, but they are 13-21 vs. the ACC and his teams have enjoyed one winning season, the 8-5 finish in 2001.
