Heels to run patient defense

Having experienced the sting of the spread offense last season, UNC coach John Bunting said his team will be better prepared to face it Saturday. Also, his defense has shown improvement during its first three games, giving up an average of 349.7 yards. Carolina gave up an average of 446.5 last season. The Tar Heels, however, are anticipating a few new twists in Utah's game plan.
