UNC professor awarded MacArthur Genius Grant for research on social mobility


University of North Carolina professor Tressie McMillan Cottom received a MacArthur Genius Grant in recognition of her work in shaping the conversation around important social issues. McMillan Cottom, an associate professor at the School of Information and Library Science, was named a MacArthur Fellow in the foundation's class of 2020. (Daily Tar Heel)
