North Carolina freshman Day'Ron Sharpe had his way with Notre Dame around the basket as not only set a new career high, but also became the first Tar Heel to score 20 or more points this season. Sharpe scored 19 of his 25 points in the second half, and he finished the game with seven offensive rebounds and nine total.
