Day'Ron Sharpe Showcasing Motor, Aggressiveness in Starting Role


Freshman big man received his first start for North Carolina on Dec. 30 in a 72-67 loss to Georgia Tech. The move seemed inevitable as Sharpe's contagious energy and effort made him a dominant force, especially on the boards, and forced UNC basketball coach to reward him with more minutes and a starter's designation.
