Chet Holmgren has long been in the thick of the battle for the nation's top-ranked basketball recruit, and his spectacular performance in a nationally televised showdown with top class of 2022 prospect Emoni Bates helped put him over the top. The Minneapolis (Minn.) Minnehaha Academy star is thought to be a heavy Gonzaga lean as things stand.
