UNC defensive coordinator Jay Bateman on 2021 football signee DeAndre Boykins: "He is a super talented kid. When we started recruiting him, we really had to ask him, 'What position do you want to play?' He had as many offers to play running back as he had to play defensive back. He was pretty clear he wanted to play defense, which I was excited about."
