Tar Heels at their best as underdog

It couldn’t have been a better time for North Carolina’s football team to be, as coach John Bunting put it, "starving for a win." The Tar Heels, it seems, enjoy devouring the biggest of meals. The team’s latest victory — a 31-24 victory against double-figure favorite North Carolina State on Saturday afternoon — continued a trend of North Carolina playing its best as the underdog.
