This is the first time in UNC history it has played seven consecutive ACC games decided by seven points or fewer. North Carolina shot 54.8 percent from the floor in the second half, its best in a half this season. The Tar Heels had six assists and nine turnovers in the first half and 12 assists/3 turnovers in the second. The Tar Heels had a season-high 12 steals.
