N.C. State's 13 rushing yards were the fewest allowed by North Carolina since it held Wake Forest to minus-2 yards in 2000. Barrington Edwards' 62-yard run on the Tar Heels' opening series was UNC's longest run from scrimmage since Ronnie McGill had a 66-yarder against Wake two years ago. Edwards' 129 yards was a career high. He now has 188 rushing yards in three games, eclipsing his total in one season at LSU.
