Davis Love III ready to lead U.S. Presidents Cup team in 2022


He got the text right before Christmas. "I need to talk," wrote Tiger Woods. III told him to call anytime. He wanted to talk immediately. "So, I called him, and he said, ‘Congratulations. You’re going to be the next Presidents Cup captain,’" Love recalled recently. Then came the kicker. "And I’m going to make your team," Woods told him. (PGA Tour)
