First half of UNC-State had a little of everything

As the clock expired in the second quarter Saturday, one reporter in the press box at Carter-Finley Stadium said he felt so dirty after watching the first half that he needed a shower. Truer words could not have been spoken. The teams combined for 12 penalties, five fumbles, four turnovers, three third-down conversions and two bad snaps on punts. Oh, and a partridge in a pear tree, er, missed field goal.
