North Carolina had been showing gradual improvement in recent weeks while piling up wins, albeit primarily against teams residing in the bottom half of the ACC standings. The Tar Heels finally capitalized on their growth on Tuesday night with a key 75-65 victory at Pittsburgh. It’s been a long time coming. The Tar Heels have won six of their last seven.
