Mack Brown Explains Why He Awarded Scholarships to Three Valued Walk-Ons

During a team meeting on Jan. 25, UNC head football coach Mack Brown awarded three walk-ons with scholarships. It was a huge moment for kicker Jonathan Kim, running back and special teams star British Brooks, and offensive lineman Quiron Johnson. After each player learned that they had earned a scholarship they were mobbed by their teammates.
