Within a matter of hours after Robert Gillespie’s departure to Alabama made headlines, Mack Brown’s smartphone lit up with text message after text message from coaches across the country expressing interest in North Carolina’s open running backs position. Brown estimated that he received as many as 50 texts, one of which came from Larry Porter.
