North Carolina Rolls Past Northeastern, 82-62

North Carolina stepped out of conference in a rare February occurrence on Wednesday night to secure an 82-62 victory over Northeastern at the Smith Center. UNC overcame a shaky start – having committed five turnovers in its first 10 possessions – to take control with a 9-0 spurt and then closed the first half on a 13-4 run to take a 41-30 lead.
