First-down yardage a priority

First downs are the first priority for North Carolina's offense this week as the Tar Heels prepare to visit N.C. State on Saturday. The premise being: They need to do more on first down to earn more first downs. In losses to Georgia Tech and Wisconsin, poor production on first down put the Heels in a bind.
