Elizabeth Scotty Named ITA National Player of the Week

UNC sophomore Elizabeth Scotty was selected on Wednesday as the ITA Division I Women’s Tennis Player of the Week, for her efforts in the Tar Heels’ three victories last week. Scotty went 3-0 in doubles competition against Appalachian State, Charlotte and No. 14 Virginia. Scotty’s pairings lost just five games combined in those three doubles outings.
