Amato, Pack say loss to Heels is in the past
Posted Sep 20, 2005
The Tar Heels emerged victorious last year after a bizarre series of events in the final minute. State's T.A. McLendon scored what was initially ruled a touchdown in the closing seconds, but officials later reversed the call and ruled McLendon down inches short of the goal line. State got one more chance, but McLendon was stuffed on the play and wound up fumbling, with UNC's Khalif Mitchell recovering.
