North Carolina basketball coach Roy Williams notched his 900th career win as a head coach becoming the fastest to ever reach the milestone in games (1,161) and seasons (33). Williams attended UNC and later served as an assistant under legendary Carolina coach Dean Smith where he was part of Tar Heel teams that played for two national championships.
