Tar Heels drown in sea of yellow

Matt Baker and everyone else that watched the game knew where to start: little yellow hankies that generously flew from officials’ pockets. A team rarely afflicted with the penalty bug last season, the suddenly undisciplined Tar Heels followed an eight-penalty, 67-yard performance in a 27-21 loss at Georgia Tech last week with a crushing 12-penalty, 115-yard effort Saturday.
