R.J. Davis, UNC big men surge by Hokies


Thanks to the assertive play of and a return of inside dominance, North Carolina pulled away for an 81–73 victory over Virginia Tech in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals on Thursday night. Davis scored the most points off the bench for UNC in an ACC Tournament game since netted 19 against Maryland in the 2003 quarterfinals. (Tar Heel Tribune)
