Analytics Driving UNC Pitcher Shawn Rapp’s Development


In UNC's shorted 2020 baseball season, notched eight appearances, five of which were less than one inning. He was brought in as a matchup guy against lefties. His longest appearance was 2.1 innings, and he mainly threw two pitches — a four-seam fastball and a slider. Rapp used nearly a year off of baseball to focus on the details of his pitches.
