The No. 1-ranked North Carolina women's lacrosse team breezed past No. 13 Virginia Tech, 22-1, in its first road game of the season on Saturday afternoon at Thompson Field (Highlights). Jamie Ortega led the way with a game-high five goals and seven points for Carolina, which won its 14th consecutive game and improved to 7-0 (3-0, ACC) in 2021 (GoHeels.com)
