Austin O'Connor Wins 149-Pound NCAA Wrestling Title

No. 2 Austin O'Connor reached the summit of college wrestling when he beat No. 1 Sammy Sasso (Ohio State) 3-2 to win the 149-pound NCAA Championship in St. Louis on Saturday (Highlights). O'Connor becomes UNC's sixth national champion and first since T.J. Jaworsky won the title in 1995. With the win, O'Connor finishes the season 13-0.
