'First Pass' Book Recounts Pivotal Moment in Football History


"First Pass - The Day College Football Charted a New Course" recreates the pass thrown by UNC's Edwin Gregory to George Stephens in the Tar Heels’ 6-0 win over Georgia in Atlanta in October, 1895. The book was written by Lee Pace, a Chapel Hill writer, publisher, and broadcaster who has followed the Tar Heel football program since the 1970s. (Inside Carolina)
