No. 1 UNC Men's Tennis Blanks Virginia Tech, 7-0


Brian Cernoch won the clinching singles match as top-ranked North Carolina blanked Virginia Tech, 7-0, on Friday. The Tar Heels, ranked No. 1 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, improved to 13-0 in 2021, 5-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. UNC has won 15 consecutive matches, dating to last season. The Hokies fell to 9-5 this spring. (GoHeels.com)
