The Tar Heels defense was on full display against Villanova on Thursday afternoon as No. 2 North Carolina won 1-0 behind a second-half goal from Brianna Pinto. Carolina allowed just one shot against the Wildcats. In the 2021 spring slate, North Carolina has outshot opponents 63-13 after allowing three shots against Delaware and nine versus Tennessee.
