UNC makes historic hire in picking Hubert Davis

Hubert Davis not only takes a place in UNC sports history alongside Charlie Scott but accepts the unenviable task of replacing Hall of Fame coach Roy Williams. His hiring became official Monday and a press conference will be held Tuesday. Davis becomes UNC's fourth coach without head coaching experience. The previous three all reached the Final Four.
