Kendall Marshall will not be retained on UNC's basketball staff

UNC kept its men's basketball coaching hire in the family on Monday when it hired assistant Hubert Davis to replace Roy Williams, who retired last Thursday after 18 years. But it will not remain entirely intact. Assistant director of operations Kendall Marshall, whom Williams hired in October 2019 as director of recruiting, is not being retained by Davis.
