It’s pretty rare in college basketball for an assistant coach to get his first shot at being a head coach at a blueblood like North Carolina, but that’s what the Tar Heels chose to do. It means there will be some level of continuity in the program, and Hubert Davis gives them a chance at potentially bringing back Walker Kessler due to the relationship they built. (Rivals.com)
