Tar Heels chomping at the bit

Coach John Bunting, now in his fifth season at UNC, believes that he has a capable team but with several shortcomings heading into its first game. It is UNC's first road opener since 2001. "We're all excited; you can sense the energy and enthusiasm," Bunting said. "We get to play a real game, we get to play somebody else. I feel great about this group of players because of the work, because of the care and because of the effort they've given."
