Tech seeks consistency, win over Heels

North Carolina will have a new-look backfield with senior quarterback Matt Baker making his first start. LSU transfer Barrington Edwards is the only tailback with playing experience and has been widely presumed to be the starter. This week, however, coach John Bunting and his staff have not named a starting tailback, leading to speculation that freshman James "Cooter'' Arnold, a 170-pound speed back from Mocksville, N.C., could be the pick.
