Derrick Phelps on Hubert Davis as Man, Leader, Coach

Derrick Phelps played with Hubert Davis at North Carolina for two seasons from 1990-92. Phelps witnessed first-hand the qualities he feels will make Davis a successful head coach at UNC. "I have been around him as a leader at Carolina," Phelps said. "He was always straightforward. He would talk to us and he would also perform on a court to show us."
